As the 2026 Sister Leadership Development Initiative (SLDI) Administration Track drew to a successful close, participants took a moment to reflect on a month of learning, growth, and transformation, while expressing heartfelt appreciation to the individuals and institutions whose support made the programme possible.
Foremost among their expressions of gratitude was the Hilton Foundation, whose steadfast commitment to the formation of Women Religious continues to shape confident, competent, and visionary leaders.
Through its generous sponsorship, the Foundation has enabled countless women religious to acquire the knowledge, skills, and values needed to respond effectively to the evolving needs of the Church and society.

The participants also conveyed their sincere appreciation to the African Sisters Education Collaborative (ASEC) for its unwavering dedication to advancing the education and leadership development of women religious across Africa.
Special recognition was given to Sr. Mary Cecilia Draru, Executive Director; Sr. Francisca Damoah, SIJ, Director; and Sr. Martha Attakruh, SHCJ, ASEC Programmes Coordinator for Ghana.

Their exceptional leadership, careful planning, and tireless commitment ensured that the programme was both impactful and enriching.
The participants further acknowledged the invaluable contribution of the facilitators—Dr. Mark Mantey, Bro. Prof. Michael Amakyi, CSC, Mr. Michael Osei Nkrumah, and Sr. Callista Tetteh, CSC—whose expertise, practical experience, and engaging presentations equipped participants with essential administrative and leadership skills.
Their mentorship challenged participants to view leadership not merely as a position of authority but as a vocation of service, guided by integrity, accountability, collaboration, and excellence.

Filled with renewed enthusiasm and a deeper sense of purpose, the participants concluded the programme with prayers of gratitude, asking God to richly bless the Hilton Foundation, ASEC management, the facilitators, and everyone whose generosity and vision continue to empower women religious to become transformational leaders in service of the Church and humanity.
