The event which took place on May 29, 2026, was aimed at celebrating and preparing the students for life beyond secondary school.

The programme, which focused on celebrating the final-year students while preparing them for higher education and future careers, also emphasised mental resilience, integrity, and living in a manner that reflects the values of the school.

The event began on a lively note with a captivating performance by the school’s cultural troupe, setting an engaging tone for the day’s activities.

The Municipal Chief Executive for Sunyani West, Hon. Kwasi Boateng Asante, who chaired the programme, encouraged the students to remain focused and disciplined as they transitioned into the next phase of their lives.

The first presentation was delivered by Dr. Daniel Berko, a Senior Lecturer and Chairman of the Admissions Committee at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR).

He spoke extensively on transitioning into higher education, making informed career choices, building mental resilience, and the importance of integrity in personal and professional life.

In the second session, Dr. Paul Armed, a Senior Lecturer and Examinations Officer at UENR, advised students on selecting study programmes that align with their interests and long-term goals, emphasizing the need to make choices they would not regret.

The third speaker, Superintendent Dennis Peasah, Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Prisons Service in Sunyani, educated the studenton the mandate of the service and encouraged them to live responsibly and avoid actions that could jeopardise their future.

Overall, the atmosphere was vibrant and inspiring, with students expressing excitement and appreciation for the insightful presentations and guidance received.
