Members of the Catholic Vocations Directors’ Association, Ghana (CAVDAG) have elected new leaders to manage the Association’s affairs for the next two years.
The new Executive members who had earlier been elected from the Tamale Ecclesiastical Province were presented to the larger group during their 46th Annual General Meeting at the Centre for Pastoral Formation, Tamale, which ran from February 12 to 16, 2026.

The newly elected leadership, which will manage the affairs of the Association for the next couple of years, included:
Fr. Luke Atanga, Vocations Director of Navrongo-Bolgatanga Diocese (President)
Fr. Moses Nsenminya, Vocations Director of Tamale Archdiocese (Vice President)
Sr. Juliana Atuuna, SMI Vocations Directress from Damongo Diocese (Secretary)
Fr. Joseph Megbenya, Vocations Director of Yendi Diocese (Vice Secretary)
Bro. Prosper Ganye, FIC, Vocations Director, from Wa Diocese (Financial Secretary).

Having assumed duty and addressing the members of CAVDAG during the February 15, 2026, handing-over ceremony, the President, Fr. Luke Atanga, extended appreciation to the Tamale Province for choosing them to lead the group, a responsibility which he maintained could only be effectively executed through the grace of God and the unflinching support of members.

He further lauded the outgoing Executive from Cape Coast Ecclesiastical Province for their commitment, hard work, and all the sacrifices they made for CAVDAG during their tenure in office, calling on all members to continue to be one another’s keeper as far as the work of shepherding the flock entrusted to them by the Lord is concerned.

“Let us continue to show the brotherly and sisterly love that we have been showing one another, as people called to one mission. Let us share the joy, and let none feel isolated or self-sufficient,” he entreated, maintaining that their united energy and efforts will produce greater results; more quality vocations.

The handing-over ceremony was characterized by the symbolic shaking of the hands of the new executive members, by the old executive, led by Fr. Francis Fyn, outgoing President, who then ushered them to assume their seats at the high table.
New members to the Association were also introduced and officially welcomed.
