The Holy Family of Nazareth School at Chiraa in the Bono Region of Ghana has held its first-ever graduation ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the school’s history since its establishment.
The May 21, 2026 ceremony celebrated the pioneer class of 31 learners who sat for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), setting a new tradition for the institution.

In her opening address, the headmistress, Sr. Justina Czerwinska, CFSN, expressed profound gratitude to parents for the confidence reposed in the school and their continuous support.
She also commended the teaching and non-teaching staff for their dedication and contributions toward the development of the learners. She concluded by congratulating the graduates for their commitment, perseverance, and hard work.
Delivering goodwill messages, the chairman of the programme, Prof. Yaw Oheneba Sakyi, and the Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Sunyani, Very Rev. Fr. Oppong Febiri, lauded the achievements of the graduates.
They also acknowledged the unwavering support of parents and praised the commitment of the school’s staff.
The speakers further commended the religious sisters for their exceptional contribution to education and moral formation, noting their continued dedication to shaping the future of young people in the community.
