Five Temporary Professed Sisters of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus ( HHCJ) have renewed their vows on August 22, 2025, at Novitiate Chapel, Nsoatre- Sunyani, Ghana.
Rev. Fr Vitalis Kokoro, a Priest of the Obuasi Diocese was the celebrant and in his homily, asked the Sisters to be like Ruth who was very loyal.
He told the Sisters that God sees everyone equally and no one is a stranger in the sight of God.
Therefore, he urged them to endeavour to accept people as they were as they renew their vows.
He entreated the Sisters to continue to love the people they encounter in their lives since the most important thing in God’s commands is love.
He advised them to love all people without judging them or choosing some over others, reminding them Jesus removed divisions between people.
He again advised the Sisters renewing their vows to see each other as God’s creation and treat themselves that way.
He said “If you love from your heart, everyone becomes like family in God’s big family.”
