The Incarnate Word Preparatory School , owned and managed by the Sisters of the Incarnate Word ( SVI) at Mantukwa in the Catholic Diocese of Sunyani, Bono Region of Ghana held its 4th Graduation Ceremony for KG2 Pupils on the July 23, 2025 under the theme “Building a brighter future through quality education”.

The Headmistress, Sr. Janet Ayine ,SVI in her welcome address, resounded that, “Moral values and virtues coupled with discipline are crucial steps towards a brighter future for our young ones”.

With this in mind, she assured the gathering that Incarnate Word Preparatory school was committed to providing quality education to the people of Mantukwa and it’s environment.

According to her, quality education coupled with moral values would produce good and godly leaders for Ghana and the world at large.

Sr. Ayine urged parents to continue to instill discipline in their children, which she said was a virtue fading among today’s youth.

She  reminded parents that, what they plant in the minds of their children today would determine what they grow with and the kind of leaders they will be in the future.

The guest speaker, Mr. Peter Boateng, CEO of INNORIGHTS GHANA, echoed that, in a rapidly changing world, where artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital technologies were shaping every aspect of life, “we cannot afford to educate our children the same way we were educated decades ago.”

“We must urgently embrace innovation in our educational systems, especially in rural and deprived communities like ours. It is through technology-enhanced learning that children in Mantukwa can connect with the world and compete globally.”

But beyond the gadgets and smart-boards, he said “we must teach children to be morally upright and ethically grounded”.

There were various performances by the children including drama both in French and English, Dagaba and Akan cultural performances, poetry recitations, modeling and choreography, demonstrating the training these young ones had been receiving at Incarnate Word Preparatory School.

The attendance from parents was very encouraging, which was a way of motivation and encouragement for their children and the school.
