In a welcome address at the opening ceremony of the celebration of Jubilee year of Consecrated Men and Women in Ghana held in the Diocese of Sunyani on January 31, 2025, the Most Rev. Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sunyani and the President of the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference appreciated the commitment of the Religious in founding the Catholic Diocese of Sunyani.

The jubilee celebration for Concentrated Men and Women is supposed to be on February 2, 2025 from the Holy Father Pope Francis; but the Religious in Ghana came together not just to have a day’s celebration but a three day programme fostering unity among the Religious in the country since it is one of its first kind to bring all the religious in the country together.

The Day one of the celebration which was the opening ceremony, took place at the Jubilee Hall of the Pastoral Centre.
