As a Catholic nun in the Handmaids of the Divine Redeemer (HDR) Congregation, Sr. Aflah has not only dedicated her life to God but has also soared to incredible heights in law, leadership, and advocacy.

She is a lawyer, human rights advocate, university tutor, and international leader, currently serving as the Vice Superior General of HDR and the Executive Director of HDR Sisters’ Foundation. She has worked on global platforms, including Caritas Internationalis, and continues to be a voice for justice and dignity, especially in marginalized communities.

Her remarkable journey has taken her through some of the world’s top institutions, earning degrees in Human Rights Law, Business Administration, and International Law. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in International Law and Treaty Law, proving that religious life does not limit one’s potential—it elevates it!
