On this International Women’s Day, I take a moment to celebrate the extraordinary gift of womanhood. As a religious woman, I recognize the divine beauty in every female, a reflection of God’s masterpiece on earth and in heaven.

Womanhood is a sacred calling, an embodiment of grace, strength, and resilience.

A woman is a Wisdom-filled   Outstanding, Magnanimous, Anointed

Nurturer that the world has ever produced.

She is a beacon of light in the home, the community, and the Church. From the moment of creation, God endowed women with an innate ability to nurture, to love unconditionally, and to foster peace and unity in society.

History has witnessed countless women who have shaped the world through their wisdom, sacrifice, and unwavering faith.

Among them stands the Blessed Virgin Mary, the epitome of womanhood, chosen by God for the most salvific mission-to bring forth the Savior of the world. Mary’s humility, obedience, and faith remain an enduring testament to the power of a woman’s “Yes” to God’s call.

Every woman carries within her the spirit of hope, endurance, and selfless love. She is a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend, a guide, and a nurturer. Her gentle touch heals wounds, her words inspire courage, and her prayers sustain the world.

Today, as we honour women globally, let us also acknowledge the spiritual essence of our calling. A woman is not merely defined by societal roles but by her God-given dignity and purpose. She is called to be a pillar of faith, a catalyst of change, and a vessel of divine love.

I am grateful to God for the privilege of being a woman-a woman of hope, strong in faith, and committed to His divine mission. May every woman find joy in her identity, strength in her challenges, and fulfillment in her sacred journey.

Happy International Women’s Day to all women, on earth and in heaven!

Mary, our Mother, Teach us to love better.
