O Lord, Shepherd of Your people,
In Your divine wisdom, You have chosen Pope Leo XIV
To lead and guide Your Church in this new age.
We thank You for his calling, his courage, and his faith.
Grant him the wisdom of Solomon,
The strength of Peter,
And the compassion of Christ.
May he lead with humility,
Serve with love,
And speak with truth.
Protect him from all harm,
Surround him with faithful counselors,
And fill his heart daily with the light of the Holy Spirit.
May his pontificate be a beacon of unity, hope, and renewal
For all the faithful across the world.
Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
And all the saints who have gone before him,
May Pope Leo XIV be a faithful servant to Your will,
And a true shepherd to Your flock. Amen.
