Two Daughters of the Most Holy Trinity Sisters Equipped for Digital Evangelization

Kumasi, Ghana – August 1, 2026

Two Daughters of the Most Holy Trinity (FST) Institute have taken a significant step toward strengthening the communication and evangelisation efforts of the ministry.

This follows the successful participation of two of its Sisters in a three-day media training organised by the Catholic Sister Communicators Network – Ghana (CASCON-GH).

Held from July 29 to 1st August 1, 2026 at the Centre for Spiritual Renewal (CSR), Santasi, Kumasi, the intensive workshop brought together Religious Sisters from various Congregations across Ghana to acquire practical skills in modern communication and digital media for their respective missions.

Representing the Daughters of the Most Holy Trinity FST were Sr. Saraphine Ankrah, FST and Sr. Helena Adwoa Koissi, FST, who actively participated in sessions on photography, videography, news writing, social media management, website administration, digital storytelling, and ethical communication in the Church.

The training forms part of CASCON-GH’s vision of empowering Religious Sisters to become effective communicators of the Gospel by using contemporary media platforms to reach wider audiences.

For the Daughters of the Most Holy Trinity Congregation, this opportunity marks the beginning of a new chapter in its communication ministry.

The knowledge and practical skills acquired by the two sisters are expected to enhance the congregation’s media presence by improving the documentation and publication of its apostolic works, spiritual activities, community life, and outreach programmes.

Beyond serving their Congregation, the newly trained Sisters are also expected to contribute to the communication efforts of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi; as well as support the coverage and promotion of Archdicesan events and pastoral initiatives while collaborating with fellow Catholic communicators.

Speaking after the training, the participants expressed gratitude to CASCON-GH for the invaluable opportunity, describing the programme as a transformative experience that has equipped them with the confidence and technical skills needed for effective digital evangelization.

The workshop concluded with the presentation of media kits and communication vests to participants, symbolising their commitment to becoming ambassadors of truth, hope, and faith through responsible and professional Catholic media.

As the Church increasingly embraces digital communication, the participation of the Daughters of the Most Holy Trinity FST in this initiative reflects the congregation’s commitment to remaining relevant in proclaiming the Gospel and sharing its mission with the world through modern media.

Communicating Christ is captured by theologian D. Elton Trueblood, who stated: “Evangelism is not a professional job for a few trained men, but is instead the unrelenting responsibility of every person who belongs to the company of Jesus.”
