Members of the Catholic Sister Communicators Network-Ghana are currently participating in an in-person training programme including Website Management and Ethics at the Centre for Spiritual Renewal, Santasi, Kumasi, from 29 July to 2 August 2026.
The training is aimed at equipping Catholic Sister Communicators with practical knowledge and skills to effectively use digital platforms for evangelisation, communication, and the promotion of the mission of the Church.

On Thursday, July 30, the participants made up of about 49 Sisters from 22 Religious Congregations in Ghana were tutored on Website Management and the Use of ChatGPT.
Being highly interactive and enriching, the Sisters were introduced to practical skills in creating and posting content on websites.
The session provided the Sisters with the opportunity to learn how to prepare and publish relevant content that can effectively communicate the activities, events, and missions of the Church and Religious Congregations.

The Sisters were also introduced to the use of ChatGPT as a digital tool that can assist in communication, content creation, research, and other tasks when used responsibly and ethically.
The practical approach of the session enabled participants to engage actively, ask questions, share experiences, and learn from one another.

The training funded by Hilton Foundation based in in the United States, highlighted the importance of responsible digital communication.
Catholic communicators are called to ensure that the content they publish is truthful, respectful, accurate, and consistent with Christian values and professional ethics.
Ethical communication is particularly important in Catholic media and digital platforms because what communicators publish can influence how people understand the Church and its mission.

The members of the Catholic Sister Communicators Network-Ghana expressed its sincere gratitude to the facilitators from Global Newswatch Media and Communications for their dedication, patience, and willingness to share their knowledge and expertise.

They were deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn new skills that will strengthen our communication apostolate and enable us to use digital media more effectively for evangelisation.
They looked forward to the remaining days of training with enthusiasm and openness to learning.
