Final-year students of the Catholic University of Ghana including Sisters of various Religious Congregations marked a memorable milestone on Friday, May 20, 2026, as they completed their final examinations, bringing their undergraduate academic journey to a close.
After weeks of intense study, long nights, and rigorous preparation, the atmosphere on campus shifted to one of excitement and relief.
The once tense academic environment gave way to joy as students reflected on their years of hard work and anticipated the next phase of their lives.

The Catholic University of Ghana continues to stand out for its unique academic and moral formation, particularly through the presence of Catholic Sisters across all faculties.
From the School of Nursing and Midwifery (SONAM) to Education, Economics and Business Administration (EBA), Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (CEMS), and Arts and Social Sciences (AHASS), the Sisters have consistently made significant contributions to both the intellectual and moral development of students.
To commemorate the occasion, graduating students, including Sisters from various congregations, designed customized T-shirts bearing meaningful inscriptions. These designs reflected personal journeys, shared experiences, and the identity of the graduating class.

The celebration became a powerful expression of unity as students dressed in their shirts, posed for photographs, and shared moments of laughter and nostalgia.
The festivities continued across faculties, each adding its own flair through performances, music, and collective displays of joy.
For many students, the event symbolized more than the end of academic work; it was a celebration of friendships, achievements, and personal growth cultivated over the years.

The highlight of the celebration was a vibrant brass band procession that led students in song and dance, filling the campus with rhythm and energy. The lively display transformed the final sign-out into a joyful send-off, leaving students with lasting memories of their time at the university.
